Well, three of my reasons for not blogging much recently have been sorted out. Our internet connection, if slow, is at least reliable for the moment. It took a visit from a BT engineer to sort out wiring problems in the loft, but at least we are not back on dial-up. Secondly, with the updates from Vox, I’ve sorted my email problem, so my vox emails come to the right address. And lastly we’ve ordered our ‘big’ car and I’m waiting for confirmation from the dealer. Hopefully no more searching on that front. Still busy, but kids are off school and things are pretty relaxed.
I’ve enjoyed catching up on reading blogs the last couple of evenings. It’s great to see the video function in use… Obahsomah with wonderful footage of Max singing to Beethoven, Mandylion getting back online at last with a longer video about blasphemy. There’s been food for thought with Sam reminding me to get to the Co-op for my fairtrade Easter chocolate and Spurts helping me think about forgiveness. And lots of news encouraging me to keep on keeping on, and keep on praying.
If you’re a booklover, why not think about joining the Voxtropolis Book Club reading of The Divine Conspiracy (Dallas Willard). We’ve just got a copy and the foreword by Richard Foster makes it looks like it will be good. It may not be a new book, but if, like us, you’ve not had time to read it before (or not even heard of it!) why not try it now and join the conversation?
Last but not least, congratulations to Geoffrey on his HOMErun. 36.1 miles, 58km, 5:23.43. Amazing.
I think I’m going to make a warm drink and watch a Mosaic podcast. Catching up as ever, it’ll be Soul Cravings No.1. There’s a recap show for the series on the site there at the moment, which is probably a good taster if you’re a podcast nube!
Keep on keeping on.

Hi Fiona,
thanks for stopping by.
I’m curious about the book. I need to read something. I’ll see if Mike has it in his library.
